| 26 October 2026 | Correction after our review: the final settlement guide said a ticket home is paid only if your contract promises one. Under Article 13(12) the employer pays your return, unless you join another employer in the UAE or the contract ended because of you. Also added the probation notice of Article 9 (14 days to leave the UAE, one month to change employer), and removed the Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain cards that showed twice on the home page. |
| 26 October 2026 | Correction after our review: two UAE pages said leaving a few weeks before year 5 costs extra gratuity. It does not, because part years count in proportion (Article 51(3)); only the 1-year minimum is a step. The Gulf comparison now says the 5-year step applies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait (3 years in Bahrain), and that the Oman figures assume service under the new law only. |

| 26 October 2026 | Correction: the UAE pages said resigning never reduces gratuity. Article 68(3) still lets an employer use the old rules for service under an old unlimited contract, and the pages now say so. Correction: part-time gratuity in the UAE follows the contract hours (Cabinet Resolution 1/2022 Art. 30), not the hours actually worked. |
